Overall I have been quite happy with this location. The food is always the quality I have come to expect from Red Robin as a whole and the staff were friendly. The only problem I have is their new menu is unclear. When I ordered a “double burger” as stated in their menu I received a single burger. Upon explaining this the order was corrected however the miscommunication only became apparent when the bill came and I was charged for an additional patty. The menu was trying to say a “double size” patty but read “Double Burger “ which I understood to be 2 patties.
Edit: I have been to the Guildford location since and the menu has been changed again and is more clear. Once I got over the frustration of this I realize that the staff did well despite the confusion and deserve a better score so I am changing the score from 3 stars to four.
Pretty good burger joint and bottomless fries. One batch of fries is enough though. It's always super busy and that's a bit annoying. It's a bit over rated but they have all sorts of variations for their burgers. If you're bored I'd say try it out but otherwise, save your energy you'll be spending standing in line with screaming kids.
I don't know if I've ever been to this Red Robin location without having to wait in line. Regardless of whether it's an early or late lunch/dinner, there's always a number of names on the waiting list. In my opinion, this is the case because there are tons of families in Langley that come here to celebrate family occasions. What's good about Red Robin is it also has a large menu with plenty of options for everyone (from their signature burgers & drinks, appetizers and salads) that have more affordable pricing than other family chains out there.
If you have a bigger appetite or craving, I suggest doubling up your patty or making sure you get as much of that yummy endless fries! Be sure to shake a bunch of that Red Robin seasoning too because it's great. :)
I must add, the service we got from the hostess and the server this past Friday night was really fantastic. They took such good care of us with big smiles on their faces that it didn't matter that they ran out of cutlery.
